Before you begin, you need to create an account on the Dais platform. To register, please contact support at support@dais.com.

Read Authentication to configure your API credentials.

You have the option to use our UAT environment to test your integration, the API base URLs are:

• PROD: https://api.dais.com/ioi/v3/
• UAT: https://api.uat.dais.com/ioi/v3/

Choose a guide for your integration:

• Getting a quote — submit intake, request quotes, and retrieve the results.
• Connecting to a policy service — create a policy record in an existing policy system.
• Workbenches and service buses — connect external underwriting workbenches and service buses.
• Headless premium finance — use DAIS in a premium finance integration.

Using the Examples#

Values in angle brackets are placeholders. Replace them with your own values before using an example: <UUID of the client ID> means a client UUID, and <Base64-encoded API key and secret> means your encoded API credentials. Keep the JSON quotation marks around string values.

Dates, amounts, and counts are illustrative values. API field names, documented enum values, and reserved question identifiers are part of the API contract. Other question identifiers depend on your product's configuration. Use the appropriate base URL above when replacing https://api.{ENV}.dais.com in an example.
